Warwick Black

  • Warwick Black qualified directly for the Finals from the Midlands Qualifier having finished 4th.

    Warwick Black has had a solid year in the Midlands region with top 5 finishes at Leeds, Birmingham and Nottingham.
    The team is made up of 3rd years Josh Voller and Sophie Hetherton who both graduate this year, 3rd year Spencer Dowling who is going on to study a masters, first year postgraduate Ben Lawrence who joins the team from Leeds, and first years Hamish Oliver and Sam Crafer who join having previously team raced at school.

    The team trains once every two weeks at Draycote Water, with a few theory sessions a term. Finishing 4th at qualifiers the team is returning to finals after a year absence and is looking to finish the year with a good result!
