  • After three weekends, Edinburgh Blue qualified for BUSA finals after finishing 3rd in the Scottish Qualifying Leagues.

    Team newbies Hugh Braidwood (2nd year, Sport & Recreation Management) and Alex Elliott (3rd year, Chemical Engineering) have joined BUSA veteran and team captain James Logan (3rd year, Environmental Geoscience) to helm with their crews Rosie Farr (3rd year, Geography), Rebekka Thomas (Postgraduate, IP Law) and Hannah Jones (1st year, Maths).

    Despite the fresh-faces, Edinburgh are hoping to improve upon last year's 9th place. After making it to the semi-finals of the Glasgow Grouse in October, and training with Glasgow and Strathclyde USC and Alumni teams this semester, watch out for the Scottish rivalries on and off the water as Edinburgh battle to beat their neighbours!

    Races against Loughborough and Trinity will also be ones to keep an eye on after Edinburgh Blue beat both teams in tight races at IUSA Intervarsities this semester, but finished behind them overall after being knocked out at the semi-finals.

    Edinburgh Blue are coming to this event with a point to prove and BUCS points in their sights!
