  • Plymouth White qualified for the finals by finishing 4th at playoffs. They finished 7th at the Western Qualifier.

    Boat 1 - Mark Thomas (Placement - Marine and Composite Technology) and Sophie Harris (3rd - Environmental Science)
    Boat 2 - Richard Abendstern (Placement - Marine Technology) and Izzy Waterfall (3rd - Ocean Science)
    Boat 3 - Will Taylor (2nd - Marine and Composite Technology) and Mat Currell (Fresher - Geology)

    Two boats from this team were part of the placement team at the Plymouth Pasty and were able to finish 3rd!
    As Christmas rolled around the final boat was added to the team in preparation for Qualifiers. Training was hit hard and even without competing at an event together (and a car managing to connect with debris) the team made it to Qualifiers and made it through to Playoffs.
    With much more training before playoffs and the journey to Glasgow the were ready for racing. Racing was tough but the team did what was needed to get to Finals. Now the story continues who knows what will happen?

    Some of the questions that will be answered during the event include...
    - Will Will make it to a BUSA event this year without his car breaking down?
    - Will we have any cheerleaders?
    - Will Rich have his name spelt correctly on his jumper?
