  • Southampton Purple is made up of 4 previous BUSA finalists who intend on keeping their record going this year. Successes this year include winning the Exeter Excalibur and qualifying directly for Finals from the South Central Qualifier, having finished 1st.
    The Team is based at the beautiful Spinnaker Sailing Club which is found on the edge of the new forest in Hampshire. The Team trains at Spinnaker once a week. Southampton is one of the few Universities to have 4 team racing teams, and one of two universities to have three teams competing at finals. Southampton has a good track record with team racing, and all teams intend on adding to it this year.
