Cambridge Black qualified directly for the Finals from the Midland Qualifier having finished 3rd.

Captained by all round helming rockstar Anna "A-dog" Prescott who came third at BUSA last year, Cambridge Black are looking to smash out some sneaky wins in Scotland. Crewing for A-dog is midlands legend Karen "Cambridge-wot?" Thomas. Hopefully her previous affiliations with other teams won't distract her on the start line.
The sole survivor from last years team Black is Paris, who is joined in his boat by crew, Ollie "OJ" Jagger. Paris "the Operator" Thomas, a relative BUSA veteran, has managed to come 4th in the last two years - we rate his consistency, perhaps not his medal collection. His switch to helming this year may prove game changing.
The third helm is Jamie "callsign Viper" Webb. Jamie is another member of the gang who, after savagely losing the BUSA final last year, has pulled the switch from crewing to helming. Who knows how that will go.
Luckily, he is joined by possibly the most bougie crew on the circuit, Michael "The ATM" Smith. Michael sailed with A-dog last year, so team chemistry is looking "hotter than a hot potato" - Anna Prescott 2018.
