Nottingham Green qualified for the finals by finishing 6 at playoffs. They finished 6 at the Midlands qualifier.

For the first time in centuries, the University of Nottingham's sailing team is proud to be competing at the BUCS finals. The team kicked off the year with a smashing start, taking the win at the infamous Leeds Howler. This flying start continued to the Brummy Boom, where a perfect 10/10 in qualifying was achieved - before letting a little too loose in Saturday night's FAB and finishing with a modest second. The theme was repeated at the Loughborough Lemming, in which our team waited for the deciding race of the final to exquisitely pull off the rarest of conversions - from a 1,2,3 to a 4,5,6 - claiming second place again. With some good results behind us, and some important lessons learned, the team is ready to bring on whatever the finals hold.
