Irish Sailing in association with K Sail are delighted to bring you the Irish eSailing Team Racing Championships. Entries for the Inaugural event will open from 23rd - 28th May. Racing starts w/c 1st June with one match per team each week. With Junior and Open divisions the event will run over 8 weeks culminating in semi's and finals on 13th and 14th August. Targeted at members of affiliated clubs, training centres, schools and colleges the event welcomes a team comprising of members from each club. With limited team slots available, register early to avoid disappointment.

• The racing will use Virtual Regatta Inshore and be 3vs3 team racing
• Entrants should represent an Irish Sailing affiliated club, training centre, school or college
• Teams will be responsible for organising their own matches during a week as specified in the schedule and each match will consist of 3 races
• To setup races you will need access to a Virtual Regatta Inshore Pro account, which costs €9,99/month. Only 1 person needs this account which for the junior category could could be a parent who then follows the race around the course
• Each team member will then need their own personal VR Inshore account to join the races

From testing, we have found it useful for the team to join a chat/audio/video call whilst sailing so that they can talk live to each other about the tactics.
